Top 10 CA practice management software in India (2026)

Ten tools made the cut this year — out of a much longer field of Indian CA practice platforms we tested, researched and priced. This is the countdown version of our rankings: what each of the top 10 CA practice management software picks is genuinely best at, what it costs, and the one caveat we'd check on a demo before signing.

#1: QwikCA (4.8/5) — India-first compliance automation used by 2,000+ firms and 5,000+ active users. Read the review →

What it took to make the top 10

Every tool here had to prove it can run a real Indian practice: track GST, ITR, TDS and ROC due dates across a full client list, create and assign the recurring work, chase clients for documents, and bill the fee at the end. We scored the field on compliance depth, automation, ease of use, value at real team sizes and support — with verified vendor pricing weighted heaviest and third-party review scores always cited with their review counts, because independent review volume in this category is thin. The same scores power our 2026 rankings; the method is documented on how we review. If you want deeper narratives per tool, our best CA practice management software guide covers the same ten in long form.

  1. 1

    QwikCA

    #1 of 10 — Best overall
4.8 From ₹1,000/year (excl. 18% GST) · unlimited clients on every plan

The top spot goes to the tool that removes the most manual compliance work from a firm's week. Point QwikCA at your client list and it auto-creates the GST, TDS and ITR tasks for every client and every period; GST portal auto-fetch confirms what's actually been filed; and the compliance calendar fires smart reminders before the due date, not after. Client chasing runs over the WhatsApp Business API and templated email, documents land in an AES-256 vault via the client portal and mobile apps, and GST-compliant billing with Razorpay/UPI links closes the loop on fees. The firm-side toolkit is equally complete: Kanban task boards, a client vault and CRM with a lead pipeline, RBAC with GPS attendance and timesheets, DSC expiry tracking, a UDIN register and profitability reports — with data residency in India.

It's proven across 2,000+ firms and 5,000+ active users — Indian CA, CS and tax practices of every size, from solo to mid-to-large, multi-branch firms. The honest caveats: it's cloud-only with no on-premise install, statutory-audit and ROC/MCA workflow depth is lighter than the legacy filing suites, and DSC expiry is tracked but there's no in-app e-signing.

    Pros

    • Auto-created GST/ITR/TDS tasks and GST portal auto-fetch
    • WhatsApp Business API + email automation for client chasing
    • Billing with Razorpay/UPI, client portal and staff/client mobile apps
    • Flat yearly pricing with unlimited clients on every tier

    Cons

    • No on-premise option — QwikCA is cloud-only
    • Audit and ROC/MCA workflows run shallower than the legacy filing suites
    • Tracks DSC expiry but can't e-sign documents in-app

Plans (yearly, excl. 18% GST, unlimited clients): Solo ₹1,000 (1 user, 2GB), Starter ₹7,500 (10 users), Growth ₹12,500 (20 users, the most popular tier), Scale ₹17,000 (40) and Enterprise ₹27,000 (60), or ₹100/user/month billed yearly. One-month free trial with no card, and a 30-day money-back guarantee; no permanent free plan.

  2. 2

    Jamku

    4.7 From ₹6,500/yr (5 users)

Jamku holds #2 on substance: it is one of the most widely used and widely discussed practice tools among Indian CA and CS firms, its compliance-management dashboard is the feature users cite for staying, and its Capterra base (4.5/5 from 36 reviews) is the largest independent signal among the challengers. Check two things on a demo — recurring-task automation and notifications run lighter than the tools above it, and some GST/IT portal-sync, UDIN and DSC-expiry features live in the separately priced Jamku Portal add-on. Our QwikCA vs Jamku comparison maps the gaps.

  3. 3

    Turia

    4.6 From ₹100/user/mo

Turia takes #3 as the strongest mobile-first option in the top 10. The compliance calendar spans GST, ITR, TDS and ROC (down to DIN KYC, AOC-4 and MGT-7), WhatsApp and email automation are built in, there's a DSC register with expiry alerts, and the Android/iOS apps integrate with Tally and Zoho Books. Pricing at ₹100–₹200/user/month is excellent — just note the 5-user minimum on per-user plans, and that SMS automation isn't offered (WhatsApp and email are).

  4. 4

    Finexo

    4.5 From ₹5,999/yr (10 users)

Finexo earns #4 with a compliance engine that auto-creates GST, ITR and TDS tasks per client — factoring each client's QRMP status — plus ROC/MCA tracking, DSC alerts, versioned document management and an encrypted credential vault. Bulk WhatsApp, SMS and email cover the chasing, and flat annual pricing keeps costs predictable. It has fewer public reviews than the veterans, and Tally/government-portal integrations weren't confirmed in our research, so test those in the trial.

  5. 5

    ERPCA

    4.5 From ₹200/user/mo

ERPCA at #5 is the well-established workhorse: in the market since 2008, with task and billing workflows as its strongest muscles, a client portal, and a mobile app available in nine languages — genuinely useful for teams and clients working beyond English. Integrations span Tally, Google Drive, Dropbox, Razorpay and PayPal. Deep GST/ITR/ROC filing automation isn't its focus the way it is for the compliance-first engines, and a handful of users mention data screens loading slowly at peak.

  6. 4.5 From Partly public

ATOM from Hyderabad's Vider is #6: a mature, ISO 27001-certified platform covering workflows, a GST/IT/TDS/MCA compliance calendar with portal sync, KYB client onboarding, DSC management and recurring billing, with integrations from Google Drive to Razorpay, WhatsApp and eMudhra. Its Techjockey score is a striking 4.9/5 — from just 13 reviews. What keeps it out of the top five: no mobile app (the most-cited complaint) and pricing that is only partly public, so get a written quote.

  7. 4.3 From Free / ₹2,950/org/mo (billed annually)

Zoho Practice at #7 is the ecosystem pick: a genuinely free tier for Zoho Finance partners, Workpapers and client document requests, a secure self-service client portal (on Premium) and seamless Zoho Books integration. Outside the Zoho ecosystem the case weakens — no native India ITR/ROC e-filing inside Practice, more limited workflow customisation than India-first rivals, and no confirmed dedicated mobile app. And don't confuse it with Zoho Books: Books keeps the ledgers, Practice manages the firm doing the work. See our QwikCA vs Zoho Practice head-to-head.

  8. 4.1 From ₹1,999/yr

TaxAdda takes #8 as the lean, honest tool for small tax-focused practices: due-date and client tracking, task delegation, time tracking and bulk SMS/WhatsApp/email, priced by client volume from ₹1,999/year with unlimited users on every plan. Its best idea is discipline: GST tasks stay open until the GSTN server itself confirms the return went through. There's no self-service client portal, native mobile app or ROC/audit module, so growing firms will outgrow it.

  9. 4.0 From ₹4,999/yr

Quicko Pro at #9 attacks a different problem — winning clients online. A branded storefront with booking, UPI payments, lead capture and ratings sits alongside ITR/GST/TDS work tracking and an AI assistant, with plans at ₹4,999/₹9,999/₹14,999 per year and a 30-day trial. As a back office it's still shallow: our research turned up no ROC or statutory-audit coverage, and independent reviews of the Pro product are still scarce.

  10. 3.9 From ₹9,690/yr

Saral TaxOffice closes the top 10 as the only entry that bundles genuine e-filing with office management: IT, TDS and GST filing, balance-sheet and audit-report generation, XBRL, client management and MIS from Relyon (since 2000), at published pricing of ₹9,690 single-user / ₹13,380 multi-user (excl GST). It ranks tenth because the practice-management side is the thinnest here: a dense desktop UI, cumbersome setup and weaker cloud/mobile access.

Turning the top 10 into a shortlist of two

Don't demo ten tools — pick two against your biggest leak. If deadlines and client chasing hurt most, start with the automation leaders: QwikCA, Finexo or Turia. If you want the most battle-tested challenger, add Jamku. Zoho shops should try Zoho Practice first; tax-only solo offices can start on TaxAdda; and firms that want e-filing and office tools from one vendor should weigh Saral TaxOffice. Then load 20 real clients into each trial and see which tool your staff still opens in week three. Our buying guide has the full checklist, and moving from Excel covers migration.

Top 10 CA practice management software: FAQs

Which software tops the top 10 CA practice management software list for 2026?

QwikCA holds #1 at 4.8/5. It automates the work that actually breaks firms — auto-created GST/ITR/TDS tasks, GST portal auto-fetch, WhatsApp and email chasing, billing with Razorpay/UPI — and is proven across 2,000+ firms and 5,000+ active users. Jamku (4.7) and Turia (4.6) complete the podium, and both are excellent, well-regarded alternatives.

How did we rank these 10 tools?

Five criteria: compliance depth (GST/ITR/TDS/ROC understanding), automation, ease of use, value at real team sizes, and support. We weight verified vendor pricing and feature documentation most heavily, and wherever we cite a third-party score we cite the review count beside it, because independent review volume in this category is small. The full method is public on our how we review page, and the same order drives our 2026 rankings scoreboard.

What does the top 10 cost in 2026?

Verified figures (all excl. 18% GST): TaxAdda from ₹1,999/year; QwikCA flat plans from ₹1,000/year (Solo) to ₹27,000/year (Enterprise, 60 users) with unlimited clients; Quicko Pro from ₹4,999/year; Finexo ₹5,999/year for 10 users; Jamku from ₹6,500/year for up to 5 users; Saral TaxOffice from ₹9,690/year; Turia ₹100/user/month; ERPCA ₹200/user/month. Vider ATOM's pricing is only partly public — get a written quote.

Is any of the top 10 free?

Zoho Practice offers a genuinely free tier for Zoho Finance partners — the strongest verified free option. QwikCA has no permanent free plan, but its one-month free trial (no card) plus a 30-day money-back guarantee makes a full-length evaluation risk-free. Treat other "free" claims cautiously; several turn out to be limited trials.

Do any of the top 10 also file GST or income tax returns?

Mostly no. Practice management software runs the firm — it doesn't compute or e-file returns, and QwikCA, our #1, is explicit about that boundary. Saral TaxOffice is the exception, bundling filing with office automation. For the filing layer itself, see our guides to the best GST software for CA firms and the best income tax software for CAs.

Which of the top 10 suits a solo practitioner?

QwikCA serves Indian CA, CS and tax practices of every size, and its Solo plan (₹1,000/year, 1 user, unlimited clients) makes starting easy. TaxAdda is the lean pick for tax-only solo offices at ₹1,999/year. Note Turia's per-user pricing carries a 5-user minimum, so solo practitioners pay for five seats. Our buying guide covers the sizing decision in detail.
